Explanation:
Welcome to the DfA Operations team at the DfA (Database for Fixed Installations). We manage and distribute the railway line and track network information for the various customers within SBB (e.g. UNO, swissTamp, TopoRail, ITOP). The data in DfA Operation's applications form the basis of the lifecycle management and inventory of the roadway and ensure efficient maintenance and monitoring planning.
To support our day-to-day work, we are looking for a BizDevOps Engineer with a focus on stable operations
Maintenance of our applications (bug fixing, adaptation of releases of peripheral systems and technical updates of Delphi and Oracle versions)
Analysis of problems and their environment (business processes, transactions, data, functions)
Performance optimizations focused on Oracle PLSQL along with DBAs.
Must haves:
Willingness to maintain code in Delphi (Object-Pascal) and SQL and PL/SQL
At least 2 years of experience in object-oriented software development.
At least 3 years of experience in software development with Oracle and PL/SQL.
Degree HF in computer science, tertiary education or equivalent further education.
Good knowledge of written and spoken German as well as good knowledge of English
Nice to have:
Experience in creating and integrating GIS services (WMS, WFS)
Willingness for a longer-term commitment in an evolving environment.
Knowledge of French is an advantage
Good knowledge of GIT and Continuous Integration
Experience in asset management and geographic information systems.
