Description
Scientist in Biotechnology with profound engineering knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- University Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Biochemical Engineering, or training as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in protein purification and essential knowledge of protein separation methods and respective technical equipment
- Practical know-how of Akta chromatography systems as well as fundamental knowledge in engineering
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, knowledge in German is an asset
Your tasks:
- Supporting the process development for biopharmaceuticals in early phase development
- Running experimental packages and preparing required materials (chromatographic columns, buffers)
- Documenting and evaluating work as well as reporting and recording data in existing databases
- Maintaining technical equipment and tasks in lab organization
