Opportunity for Security Analysts
A Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services of multiple Security Analysts. Security Analysts to assist with the Cyber Security Improvement Project in enhancing the Department's cyber protection capabilities.
Contract Period: March 2018 to March 2019 (with 2*12 months possible extensions)
Skills & Experience:
1. A minimum of 5 years continuous experience working in an IT Security environment - in particular, forensic analysis, threat and vulnerability assessments or integration of cyber systems and tools; end point security, identity access management, governance, risk and reporting
2. Industry qualifications in Cyber Security/forensic tools;Demonstrated understanding and accreditation in Prince2 and other project management methodologies.
3. Experience working in Windows or Unix environments;
4. Demonstrated high level technical writing skills;
5. Demonstrated high level of knowledge of Australian Government Security requirements;
6. Ability to deliver to tight timeframes with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery of outcomes;
7. Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and maintain relationships, particularly in relation to the provision of reports, identification of risks, issues and task dependencies;
8. Proven ability to manage competing priorities;
9. Proven ability to build and maintain ICT and business stakeholder relationships within a challenging environment
10. As part of the skills transfer component of the role, proven ability to mentor personnel;
11. High level strategic analytical ability;
12. Very high order communication and negotiation skills;
13. Strong personal leadership skills at a senior level.
14. Industry certifications such as CISM, CISSP, Crest and Ethical Hacking (Highly desirable)
The client requires the applicants for this role to hold Australian Citizenship and NV1/NV2 clearance.
