Security Architect, SC Cleared, CISSP,CCSP.
My central government client requires a talented Security Architect to provide Information Assurance, security architecture and policy services for customer programmes and projects and to develop cost effective technical security options with HMG information assurance standards and enable customers to achieve their strategic objectives whilst mitigating risks.
Essential Skills.
1.1 Qualifications: Qualification in an IS security related area such as CISSP, CCSP, ITPC or equivalent experience.
CESG Memoranda and its use in designing secure IT systems.
Security in government installations including firewalls and cryptography.
Public and Private Key Infrastructure
Cryptography
Networks - LAN, WAN in worldwide solutions,
Servers - Windows NT through W2008, UNIX on Sun & HP.
Database - Including Microsoft SQL server, Oracle,
Messaging - Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, Internet facing SMTP architectures.
Desktop - Client/server and Citrix based processing, Windows 98 through to Vista, Microsoft COTS applications
Storage solutions - SAN, NAS
Virtualisation technologies - VMWare, Microsoft, Citrix
New and Developing technologies - remains abreast of all current and future ICT and Security technologies.
This position may require involvement in pan-government and international working groups and also with external suppliers.
Desirable:
British Computer Society or other professional body membership
MCTS
CCNA
CCSP
