Role: Security Assurance Coordinator
Location: Swindon
Duration: 3-6 months
Type: Contract
Rates: £430/day Ltd

My government client is looking for a Security Assurance Coordinator to work on an exciting project.

The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assisting in the production, consolidation, amendment and maintenance of all Accreditation Policy Documents including the Risk Management Accreditation Document Set (RMADS).
* Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all related project issues relating to Security Assurance.
* Advising on electronic security measures and those which could be utilised within projects.
* Acting as a key liaison to the project teams and DSAS security accreditor, representing the authority's interest in achieving accreditation.
* Completing documentation as stipulated within JSP440, in partnership with SERCO, to enable the accreditor to provide an accreditation sign off.
* Ensuring that any project security risks are captured and listed on the projects and/or HQIS risk register.
* Coordinating an accreditation and re-accreditation strategy for current and future projects.
* Acting as member for the project's Security Working Group and Project Board, supporting the Project Manager.
* Liaising with the DSAS Accreditor, taking forward any issues arising from proposals and ensuring decisions are actioned accordingly.
* Ensuring that all security deliverables are fit for purpose.
* Acting as focal point for all Authority, Academic and Service Provider accreditation processes.
* The SAC will also liaise with the Site Coordinating Installation Design Authority (SCIDA) and act as a Deputy SME, to assist with, and provide advice regarding, planning and installation of any ICS that impacts upon the current infrastructure.
* Experience within a role which has provided assurance and accreditation preferable.

Experience within Central Government is highly desirable. BPSS clearance will be required as a minimum.
