EdTech startup seeks native iOS developer

Our company builds classroom management software for language learning. Our technical team has deep experience with OS X development. We are hiring to add an iOS developer to work on our new iPad app.

We are seeking an employee for remote work. Candidates in the Chicago area are slightly preferred. Contract work will be considered if an up-front total project estimage is provided.

Qualified candidates will be skilled programmers with solid iOS experience in all of the following areas:
  • Low-level media manipulation
  • iOS multimedia frameworks (AVFoundation, AudioUnit, CoreAudio)
  • Fully asynchronous communication over RESTful APIs, such as NSURLConnection and related classes
  • Building custom UIKit controls


    • Additionally, we're using the EZAudio framework; previous experience with this framework is not required, but is a plus.
