I am looking for a WP developer who can help me to set up an online marketplace for digital products. Ideally, the applicant would have some experience in ecommerce design and a good understanding of Marketify and the relevant plugins/extensions. I am looking for someone who works in London or nearby. Depending on the quality of the work done and on the development of the business, there might be an opportunity for longer term cooperation.Here are some of the most important characteristics/features required:
- A marketplace for digital products (PDF files for immediate download)
- Storefronts for sellers (display bio, listings, pictures, descriptions, prices and reviews)
- Registration
- Search function (keyword search and filtering)
- Payment system (PayPal), which allows the operator to charge a fee/commission for each transaction
- Google Analytics
- Optimised for mobile devices
- Access control functions (control of who can view, buy and sell on marketplace)
- SEO optimisation
- Sending order confirmations and marketing emails
- Verification/vetting function
