Senior Acute Management Accountant - City of London - 4 months - NHS - up to £330 per day
You will lead in the detailed reporting of acute sector financial performance against contract, including trend analysis and financial modelling.
This will involve financial planning, monitoring and performance management of commissioning activities to achieve the organisation's financial and service priorities.
Duties will include the following:
- The team's technical finance lead on the development of the payment by results (PbR) financial regime.
- Finance support in the negotiation of hosted acute contracts including deputising when required.
- Lead responsibility in all financial aspects of the negotiation of non-local acute contracts.
- Support in the development and provision of financial information to CCGs in respect of the acute sector to support the delivery of CCG annual and medium term service and financial plans.
- Finance lead in the provision of timely and accurate practice level financial information to CCGs.
