SR. Analog RF Design Engineer

Our client is a diverse power management semiconductor company specializing in system-engineered integrated circuits and high reliability discrete devices. The Analog Mixed Signal Group (AMSG), the largest commercial products division, is a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance analog, RF and mixed signal integrated circuits and modules serving Blue Chip customers.

Currently we seek an Analog/RF Design engineer to join our product development team based in Atlanta, Georgia. This talented team of Engineers are responsible for designing state of the art, high quality RF/analog components in the 700MHz, 2100MHz, 2.4GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Responsibilities include design, simulation, verification, and production support of highly integrated, high volume RF Power Amplifiers and Front End Modules. The design work will incorporate state-of-the-art SiGe and GaAs technologies. Join our winning team and contribute to the design of power amplifiers, general RF circuits and Front End module products for the fast paced and competitive wireless market.

BSEE with 10+ years, or MSEE with 7+ years or PhD EE with 5+ years design experience of RF products in a corporate product development environment.
Experience in transistor-level RF simulation techniques and verification in ADS and/or Cadence-based design flow (or equivalent tool).
Experience in design of analog blocks such as regulators, bandgap reference circuits, detectors, and ESD structures
Experience designing passive RF filters and matching networks
Experience with advanced EM simulation tools such as Momentum, HFSS or EMX
Proven ability to debug and optimize power amplifiers and Front End Module in the lab using standard lab equipment with experience and understanding of device and/or product characterization.
Experience designing in GaAs and/or SiGe technologies.
Experience in linear PA design is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Self starter with excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work cohesively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced small team environment.
Ability to travel (approximately 10%) including occasional international travel to interface with customers.
Must have the legal right to work in the U.S. For export compliance purposes, individual must meet the definition of a US Person.
