SENIOR FORECASTING ANALYST / CONTRACT / £400-£450 PDMy client is a major credit company based in the South East looking for an experienced senior forecasting analyst to join there forecasting team.
Overall Purpose:
To support forecasting of key performance drivers of risk adjusted income including balances, yield, debt distribution and charge-offs across the portfolios ranging from near-prime to sub-prime customer profiles.
Skills:
- Relevant experience of at least 2 years in a Data Analysis/Forecasting role in financial services for unsecured loans or credit cards.
- Proven skills in the application of forecasting methodologies and how and when to apply them (including regression and time series models), their limitations and associated quality measures
- Ability to generate commercial insight from raw data
- Knowledge and experience in econometric modelling or portfolio loss forecasting/IFRS will be an added advantage
- Strong SAS /SQL / advanced Excel Skills (incl. statistical and reference functions, etc.)
