Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to drive the development and architecture of modern Android applications. In this role, you will build responsive, maintainable mobile user experiences using modern declarative UI frameworks and robust architectural patterns. Working within an agile, cross-functional team, you will integrate backend and cloud services, manage headless CMS workflows via Contentful, and optimize app performance and stability.

Aufgaben:
  • Architect, build, and maintain native Android applications leveraging Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Implement clean architecture, local data persistence (Room), and modular dependency injection (Koin).
  • Integrate front-end mobile layers with headless CMS platforms (Contentful) and backend/cloud services (Firebase, AWS).
  • Manage localization pipelines using PhraseApp to ensure multi-language scalability.
  • Monitor app performance, diagnostics, and crash reporting using Instabug, New Relic, and Splunk.
  • Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams in an agile environment via Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
  • Conduct code reviews, uphold clean code principles, and manage version control via GitHub.

Profile:
Core Engineering:
  • Platform & Language: Senior-level proficiency in native Android development with Kotlin.
  • Modern UI: Extensive hands-on experience building reactive UIs using Jetpack Compose alongside strong front-end development principles.
  • Architecture & State: Deep practical experience with Koin DI (Dependency Injection) and Room Database.
  • Mobile Services & Tooling: Solid track record working with Firebase integrations, Instabug for bug tracking/user feedback, and PhraseApp for automated localization workflows.
  • Content Integration: Prior experience integrating and consuming content models from Contentful (or similar headless CMS solutions).
Ecosystem & Team Tools:
  • Version Control: Advanced proficiency with Git and GitHub (PR reviews, branching strategies, CI workflows).
  • Monitoring & Observability: Practical familiarity with application performance monitoring and log analysis using New Relic and Splunk.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Working familiarity with AWS cloud services.
  • Collaboration & Agile: Proven experience collaborating in agile frameworks using Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
