Description
Responsible for detailed design and development of changes to the GTAC TACACS server and other Back End code to support TACACS over IPv6 as well as IPv4. GTAC is a highly reliable distributed TACACS system using LDAP for its distributed data store.Project Details: Customers need Firewall functionality to help address concerns around linking public cloud with customers' private networks.
Firewall Features:
- Basic Stateful Firewall
- IDS/IPS
- DLP based on vendor's limited DLP capabilities
- Customer portal for policy management functions
- Application filtering on the FW is not critical to launch but must be part of long term architecture
- Production train of vendor code
- Customer Log Export
- Assumption of VPN-to-VPN - not VPN-to-Internet
- Resultant architecture to ultimately support CI targeted for late Q1/early Q2 2015 including: Multi-tenant capability
SKILLS:
- Critical skills include development of Client Server applications, LDAP database interfaces, process management, IPC programming concepts, a strong background with database concepts, and interfacing C applications with LDAP databases.
- Experience with generation of BSD and IETF SYSLOG messages, the TACACS+ protocol, PERL and Object Oriented PERL, lightweight threads, and Shell programming are a plus
- Developer Must have 5 years development experience and experience with: Associated Development Environments, Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, Communication Skills - both oral and written, Fast paced environment, Multi task, Problem identification and resolution, Project Management structure and life cycle, Project Manager, RESTFUL API, Self-motivated, Software development life cycle SDLC, Visual Studio, Web based applications Developer, Web implementation, Windows or Linus - Java
- C/C++, shared memory, sockets, and thread programming experience are critical
