Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. ASP.NET/.NET Core Developer for a 1-year+ contract position in Elkridge, MD. This client allows 2 days of remote work a week. Individual should have at least 7 years of full life-cycle application development experience using C# on the .NET Framework. Individual will join a team of .NET/Web Developers responsible for the development of new and enhancement of existing enterprise applications. The position will consist of ASP.NET MVC middle-tier, .NET Core, Web API (REST) and SQL Server database development. This is part of a large-scale modernization project, moving from C#/ASP.NET Web Forms to C#/ASP.NET MVC/.NET Core. There may be some initial programming in support of the current platform, but programming will mainly be tied to the move to C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core and Angular. Individual should have prior experience integrating with and accessing data using Web API/RESTful Web Services. Individual must have strong T-SQL development skills (eg, writing stored procedures, building out tables, etc.). Should be well-versed in design structure for MVC and object-oriented techniques. Candidate will need to possess strong written/verbal communication skills and be able to interpret detailed technical specifications.
