Senior Business Development Manager


We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their project in China.


Position Title: Senior Business Development Manager
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:
- The BDM will work with the clients sales, marketing and solution extended teams as well as customer/prospect managers to quickly determine if an opportunity should be developed, or formally closed out as an invalid business opportunity.
- Responsible for creating and building relationships that will result in additional revenue and revenue opportunity within the geography or enterprise.
- Leading very large multifunctional teams to develop and close the most complex, leading-edge, high-risk opportunities, planning and leading negotiations with all levels of customer/prospect management, including senior manager management.
- Uses various tools, metrics and financial analysis techniques in the opportunity qualification and assessment process.
- Acts as a mentor to less experienced professionals within and outside the profession.
- Exhibits entrepreneurial behavior with customers/prospects to instill confidence that Huawei is committed to building solid relationships in CSP market spaces.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree is a must and Master's Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT industry.
- At least 8 years experience in Business Development on international level.
- Able to work with C level professionals.
- Rich experience in Consultative Selling and in making Long-term Deals such as IT Outsourcing, Managed Services ect.
- Able to demonstrate a proven single ITO case worth more than 10 million USD.
- At least 5 years experience in CSP industry with good relationship with CSPs.
- Fluent English language is mandatory.
- Able to travel global 50 % of the time.
