An excellent job opportunity has arisen with my client who is a Management Consultancy and we are looking for an experienced BI Consultant who is able to work at various client sites based across the UK. You will need to be flexible as you will be required to stay away from home for up to 5 days per week. This also mean that you will need to have your own vehicle and a full UK driving license.Our ideal candidate will need to have;
-minimum of 7 years experience in the successful delivery of BI solutions, using MSBI products (SQL Server 2008 R2/2012).
-have worked on a number of small/medium sized projects and have the ability to articulate the demonstrable benefits of BI projects.
-Have demonstrable experience managing and/or leading multi-person project teams.
-Be an SME in at least one industry sector around business processes and metrics.
-Strong skills with requirements analysis and dimension modelling.
-Development of customer roadmaps.
-Definition of metrics and metric frameworks.
-Previous experience working for a consultancy.
-Be autonomous and be able to comfortably work on their own.
Any previous experience with any of the following is highly desirable;
-SQL Server 2014
-SAP Business Objects Data Services 4.x, SAP Business Objects BI 4.x, SAP Hana
-Understanding of agile project delivery methodologies (Scrum)
-Development of commercial propositions
