Senior Cognos Developer - £450pd - 12Months - Reading£450 Per Day
12 Month contract
My Market leading client is currently seeking a Senior Cognos Developer.
The successful candidate will be required to design, develop and maintain Cognos BI Dashboards. You will in involved in the full development life cycle ranging from business requirements development to QA and production deployment.
You will be expected to write and maintain technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections to a high standard.
The role requires dimensional modelling and OLAP cube development plus metadata definition and building whilst maintaining complex reports using Cognos BI.
You will be expected to participate in the integration, performance and user acceptance testing of BI solutions. Testing and verifying data models whilst mapping data definitions.
You will collaborate with outside team members and management, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting reports/cubes by responding to inquiries and questions.
Overall producing deliverables by gathering information and understanding the business needs and objectives.
