Description
- Provide day to day procurement and contract management support to the EU Exit Environmental Goods and Services teams
- Provide day to day commercial advice to customers on procurement issues, processes and governance - helping to manage risk, exploit commercial opportunities and maximise value for money
- As and when required, engage with EU Exit project teams that have requirements relating to the category teams you are supporting - helping to establish needs, provide support and to develop requirement pipelines
- Conduct Cradle to grave procurement activities including advertising, supplier selection, tendering, contract award and debriefing
- Actively create and support a commercial culture that allows good procurement practices to be applied and ensures that the organisation considers both quality/technical and commercial requirements when letting contracts;
- Develop positive relationships with internal and external category stakeholders/suppliers;
- Support the development and implementation of approved category and procurement strategies;
- Uploading contract documentation and creating contract records on the Bravo e-tendering software
