Senior Compliance Manager - Financial Services - Swindon

Senior Compliance Manager required by leading financial services organisation based in Swindon.
In this Senior Compliance Manager role your main focus will be regulatory risk. You will provide compliance subject matter expertise to support the business in various areas including banking, savings and general insurance and will manage a small compliance team. Working alongside the Head of Compliance Advice this is a key SME role where you will take the lead on advising the relevant business areas how the regulatory standards apply to their BAU activities and significant projects as they seek to launch new products, change their approach to distribution and adjust to regulatory change.

To be considered you must be a Compliance Manager with a strong background within regulated financial services environments. You must have experience of advising senior colleagues on compliance issues and will have a good knowledge of compliance methodology. You must possess expert compliance knowledge in at least one of areas of banking, savings and general insurance. You will be confident in engaging and challenging business areas on their compliance issues and you will be able to demonstrate leadership skills and experience of leading a team on significant compliance projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to learn new information and interpret it quickly is also essential as you will need to be able to identify and respond to complex emerging issues. An industry recognised compliance qualification would give you an edge but is not essential.
