Our client, a global investment bank, is currently recruiting for a senior data quality analyst to join their counterparty Credit risk team on an interim basis.

The right candidate should be able to a nalyse data trends to continually protect and improve the integrity of the data that is used for counterparty credit exposure calculations. Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes, systems and source data. Measure, track and manage every material data quality issue/project through to final resolution, publishing detailed MIS including trend analysis and success metrics related to key data quality indicators.

Key responsibilities;

  • Coordinate workloads to ensure the team produce timely/accurate business-as-usual reporting of EPE, PE and stressed exposure
  • Manage the team deadlines to ensure production of relevant key performance metrics to ensure integrity in the exposure reporting process.
  • Ability to investigate, analyse and solve complex and unprecedented data quality issues where junior or less experienced analysts need guidance or assistance.

Key Skills

  • Prior experience of supervising a Risk Management team gained in a Bank.
  • Excellent understanding of data integrity & reconciliation techniques with evidence of success in analysing counterparty risk data.
  • Experience of credit risk reporting with knowledge of the different exposure measures such as potential exposure/stress exposure/credit limits/IMM regulatory capital optimisation projects
  • Good general knowledge of traded products (FX, Derivatives, SFTs).
  • Working knowledge of Basel 2 and 3 IMM requirements and EPE concepts as they relate to exposure & regulatory capital reporting.
  • Track record of delivering value-added support and analysis to the Credit Department and Credit Risk Analytics functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and results focussed.
  • Experience of working in the financial services industry.
