Title: Sr. Desktop Technician

Rate: $25/hr W2

Job Description: The Desktop Technician provides day to day operational support, technical leadership and request resolution, to the end user communities through the installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of workstations, mobile devices and peripheral equipment. Under the direction of the End User Compute Leader, the Technician will own a problem/incident through to resolution and maintains control of the incident even when assigned to others or third parties. Documentation and adherence to policies, procedures and standards of the organization is an important part of this position. The Desktop Technician is responsible for delivering high quality solutions to all levels of users.
Required Experience:
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Enterprise Desktop Operating System deployments.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory concepts.
- 5 years experience Hands-on in a desktop role (not help desk) with enterprise and desktop applications, including Microsoft Office (2010 and 2013), AutoCAD and Adobe creative Suite.
- Experience with SCCM
- Hands on Knowledge of mobile devices and applications, including Windows mobile, iOS and Blackberry.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
- Some knowledge of programming languages and techniques, including VBA and Scripting.
- Knowledge of software distribution concepts
