Description
We're seeking an Senior AWS DevOps Engineer on behalf of our client. This pivotal role involves integrating newly acquired companies into a scalable platform, significantly enhancing user experience across the board. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects that have a profound impact on the e-procurement industry across Europe.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of acquired companies into a cohesive, scalable platform.
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure, with a focus on serverless solutions such as AWS serverless, to support SaaS offerings.
- Collaborate with development teams and nearshore vendors to ensure seamless deployment and ongoing management of services.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging user feedback and adapting to technological advancements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS, including expertise in serverless architectures, specifically AWS Lambda or other related tools.
- Strong background in DevOps practices, especially in CI/CD methodologies using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, and Git.
- Demonstrated passion for SaaS platforms and an interest in the e-procurement industry.
- Excellent project coordination and communication skills, capable of leading initiatives with nearshore teams.
- Agile and adaptable, ready to thrive in a fast-evolving tech landscape.
Position Details:
- Type: Freelance
- Start Date: ASAP (no later than 3 weeks from offer acceptance)
- Contract Length: 18 months, with potential for extension every 6 months
- Location: Utrecht, Netherlands (requires on-site presence 2 days per week)
- Compensation: €80 - €90 per hour, based on experience
