My client is looking for a Senior DevSecOps SME/Consultant to hit the ground running on a long term piece of work on the build of a new Digital function.
This is an Outside IR35 role paying £850 per day and the role requires 3/4 days per week in Central London.
This opportunity requires someone with extensive experience on greenfield sites who can hit the ground running from day one.
Responsibilities and key experience:
1. Working alongside web, Back End, and Cloud infrastructure developers to ensure everything is built securely from the get-go.
2. Developing a test strategy for fast and local feedback in terms of security, including static code analysis, secrets leakage prevention, and dependencies vulnerabilities.
3. Proposing and implementing security controls.
4. Developing a strategy for runtime security monitoring and reactive defense.
5. Reviewing choices of cryptography algorithms and implementations.
6. Improving our container security at both build time and runtime.
7. Performing penetration testing on our Internet-facing services.
8. Reviewing and testing our applications against OWASP recommendations.
9. Shaping Cloud infrastructure setup to ensure Protection in Depth.
