Your tasks:
Define functional software requirements for automatic transmission, mechanical hydraulic and electronic control modules
Analyse and evaluate mechanical, hydraulic and electronic module specifications
Software development for automatic transmission with focus on:
code generation and date dictionary definition
model test and building test cases
management of software function and architecture optimization
building the control model and algorithm optimization
mechanical and hydraulic requirement analysis
Plan and perform function tests in simulation environment independently
Perform tests and function validation on test rigs and vehicles
Document function algorithms and prepare calibration instructions
Support calibration team with participation on calibration trips and testing of new software features
Present reports and documentation in regular project team meetings
Qualifications:
University Degree (Bachelor required, Master preferred) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience in function development for automatic transmission as well as model based function design
Experience with vehicle calibration tools like CANape or INCA
Must be able to work independent
Possess great skills in time management, decision making, organizational and interpersonal communication
Experience with international organizations
Fluent in English, Chinese language knowledge preferred
