Senior Finance Business Analyst - Edinburgh - 6 months - £p/d
RZ Group's financial services client is looking for an experience senior business analyst with accountancy experience to join them on an initial 6 month contract as part of their major finance transformation.
The Role:
*As a Senior Business Analyst you will form part of a project team for major divestment within the organisation. As part of the project team, you will report into the Migration Manager with the following key responsibilities:-
*As a SBA you will be expected to manage the financial reconciliation activities within the key stages of the programme. Namely:- Segregation and Separation stages.
*As an SBA you will be responsible for the gathering of the financial reconciliations business requirements.
*As an SBA you will develop and deliver the financial reconciliations approach.
*As an SBA you will be responsible for the development of the required extract from Finance
*systems to support the financial reconciliations activity
*As a SBA you will be responsible for the development of any required reconciliation tool for Finance.
*Support the testing of financial reconciliations activity.
*As an SBA you will be responsible for the execution of financial reconciliations at each of the migration events.
*Provide regular updates to the various governance bodies.
Experience Required:
*Qualified Accountant
*Financial Services Experience/Accounting Background
*Advance Excel, Word, PowerPoint
*MS Access would be an advantage
