For our client located in Brussels, Belgium, we are currently looking for a Senior GRC Advisor
Start:
Duration: 12 months

We have an urgent opportunity to place a senior resource for a period initially of 12 months (however this is likely to be extended to 2 years) onsite at one of our largest clients in Brussels, Belgium. The contractor will be in fact the right hand of the CISO, so we require in essence a Governance, risk management, and compliance resource that has a strong technical background and knowledge of McAfee EPO software.
Job Description/Project Background
* General data security skills (data protection, DRP, encryption technologies, IAM)
* Able to identify threats on different platforms, such as Servers, DB, Clients, Mobile Devices
* Perform risk assessments - preparation, data analysis, reporting
* Good understanding of Cyber threats and mitigations, Proactively gather intelligence, analyze possible impact on UCB etc.
* Provide security awareness, training and guidance to UCB teams
* Participate in Cloud solutions including evaluations, threats identification and suggest mitigations
* Interpret security policies and procedures and assist in implementation
* Penetration testing - planning and assisting in execution, follow-up
* Daily to review Security mailbox, for new requests, incidents etc, Participate in e-discovery process and actions and renew certificates for businesses
Experience/Required skills
* Governance, Risk en Compliance experience
* Knowledge of McAfee EPO software
* Experience with Infrastructure security (Network, Firewalls, Routers, Proxy, VPN, Web services)
* Good understanding and preferably experience with security tools such as vulnerability, SIEM, encryption, forensic, HIPS, IDS, IPS, AV
* Experienced in ISO 27k methodology
* Certified (CISSP, CISA, or equivalent)
Personal skills
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Flexible to take part of investigations and activities after hours and weekends, as needed
* Great communication skills
