Senior iOS Engineer

Start: ASAP
Duration: 3-9 months
Location: Durham (4 days per week on site)

We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Technology team and play a key role in delivering a mobile app. You'll work in a cross-functional team, helping to build secure, high-performing, and user-friendly mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, secure and efficient Swift code using SwiftUI.
- Lead the delivery of complex app features and dependency updates.
- Design data models, integrate APIs and contribute to app architecture.
- Act as a technical contact for mobile app releases.
- Contribute to technical design, documentation and code quality.
- Promote best practices and support junior developers.
- Identify technical risks and help guide delivery decisions.

What you'll need
- Strong iOS development experience with excellent Swift and SwiftUI skills.
- Knowledge of design patterns like MVVM or MVC.
- Experience with UX design, accessibility, and secure app development.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, authentication methods and secure messaging.
- Solid grasp of OOP, SOLID principles, and test-driven development (TDD/BDD).
- Experience producing technical documentation and contributing to solution design.
- Banking experience is a binus
