Senior IT Developer sought for our client based in Copenhagen/Denmark for a 4 Months contract opportunity. You will be working as a Senior IT Developer within the Sales & Trade Surveillance IT team. Your tasks will include Design, Development and system Testing of Oracle based solutions on very large databases.

The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skill set:

- Senior IT Developer with 8+ Years of relevant working experience.

- In-depth knowledge in the following areas: JAVA,PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle, XML, XSLT, UNIX, BI knowledge (in Dimensional Datamodelling).

- Extensive experience of Data warehouse and operational data store architectures, Datamodelling concepts and techniques as well as logical and physical database design.

- Previous Financial Sector experience/knowledge about products within the Capital Markets area would be desirable.

- Ability to work independently with defined problems on a highly-complex level. Must be able to Lead, Train and Coach other project members.   

- Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent.

- Strong drive and likes to participate in projects hands-on.

- Ability to interpret complex business requirements and turn them into generic real world solutions.

- Delivers quality solutions on time and enjoys exploiting new knowledge as well as being forced to think "out of the box" to find new creative solutions.

- Delivers high quality, structured work.

- Proactive attitude.

- Fluent Business Level English language.
