Senior Manager - Treasury & Balance Sheet Asset Finance - Cardiff
My client, a leading financial services company, is recruiting for a Senior Manager, with prior Banking & Treasury/Balance sheet Management experience, initially on a 6 -12 month contract, based in Cardiff.
Role
The Senior Manager, Treasury and Balance Sheet Management will lead a team of 8 colleagues covering the UK businesses with responsibilities for the following:
- Treasury Reporting
- Funding Analysis for the AF UK businesses
- Support for Group initiatives such as securitisation programmes
- Bank of England returns for the AF Funding for Lending Scheme assets
- Group Financial reporting (using SAP & GDRS)
- Forecasting and Planning funding charges for the AF UK businesses
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Daily cash management and transfers
Qualifications & Experience Required
* Strong Excel skills are required
* A qualified accountant with prior Banking & Treasury/Balance sheet Management experience
* Good communication skills and an ability to work with people from different parts of Finance is essential
* Ability to work under pressure/to deadlines and prioritise activities

* Ability to liaise with senior management
