Sr Medicare Financial Analyst
Description:
This position is responsible for partnering with the Medicare line of business and marketing teams to ensure effective financial management of the regional Medicare budgets.
Partner with the Medicare marketing teams to establish annual budgets, report on monthly actuals, update detailed campaign and channel forecasts, and analyze/articulate variance drivers for each region (7 regions).
Partner with Finance Manager, Medicare National Business Leaders, and regional leads to establish and/or improve reporting tools, processes and procedures that would allow for all teams to execute on the budgeting/forecasting/reporting activities.
Work closely with Associate Accountant to review invoices and execute monthly recharges and accruals.
Work closely with major vendors to ensure Finance is in the loop' on all developments impacting the financials.
Provide ongoing training to business partners on financial procedures.
Drive initiatives to improve internal processes and find efficiencies.

Must be able to work with ambiguity.
Excellent project management and organizational skills are a must for this position.
Candidate should have the drive to find ways to achieve goals regardless of hurdles and time pressures.
Candidate must have ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial individuals and be able to communicate and/or present financials to individuals in all levels of the organization.
- 4-year degree in related field
- 5-8 years financial analysis or related experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions such as pivot tables, lookup functions, macros, and database management.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving skills.
- Very detail oriented.
- Database (Access) skills a plus.
