Description
Our financial client is looking for a 2 Software Engineer:
- 1 Senior with around 10 years experience
- 1 Medior with around 5 years experience
Tasks/Responsibilities Area:
- Produce Functional Specifications
- Produce Technical Specifications
- Participate and support the application development activities (coding, Unit Testing, development support during Test phases)
- Ensure daily progress reporting
- Interact with the functional, development and testing teams in Prague and Luxembourg
Qualifications/Required Skills:
- Strong technical expertise in Object Oriented Design (OOD), C++, SQL and Linux
- University degree or equivalent
- Fast learner, solution orientated
- Capacity to quickly understand and enhance existing applications
- Strong organisational skills
- Pro-activity and capacity to meet objectives with limited support
- Advanced hands on experience in OOD (preferably UML) and C++ developments
- Ability to work in a team distributed across multiple locations
- Good command of English is expected
Additional Domain & Business Skills (but not mandatory):
- Knowledge of ClearCase versionning tool
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Functional knowledge in Financial Industry.
Assignment Details:
Location: Luxembourg
Basis: full-time
Starting date: ASAP in May 2016
Duration: the assignment is currently foreseen until end of 2016 Initial contract: until June, 30th 2016 (extension always depending on internal budget approval)
