Description
A mid-size investment management firm, with a start-up appeal, is seeking enthusiastic technologists to join their new Advanced Strategies Team. Specifically, they are in need of talented Senior Java Developers and experienced Lead Java Developers to contribute to the new product development of highly concurrent, complex financial applications.This highly Agile group is seeking developers who can contribute their own unique ideas and solutions, mentor others, introduce new technologies, while also being open and excited to learn themselves.
Candidates should be experienced/skilled in:
- Java
- Agile (or have the desire to learn)
- Spring or Hibernate
- Multi-threading
- Messaging Systems and Tools
- Testing Systems and tools
- Experience with any functional languages is a plus (Scala, Ruby, Clojure, Go, etc is also a plus)
- NoSQL or Big Data experience is a plus
- Garbage collection (preferred)
- XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
