Description
We are currently looking for a “Senior Performance Steering & Transformation Specialist (m/f/d)” on contracting basis for our client in the banking and financial services sector.

Tasks:
1. Project Participation & User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
· Participate in the definition, configuration and parametrization of the new Performance Steering reporting systems.
· Support and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from a Performance Steering perspective, validating system functionalities, reporting outputs and data consistency.
· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of key Performance Steering metrics, including Assets under Management (AuM), Net New Cash (NNC), P&L indicators and other relevant financial performance measures.
· Identify, document and follow up on discrepancies, data quality issues and functional gaps, coordinating their resolution with IT, Finance and relevant business stakeholders.
· Maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test cases, testing logs, validation results and formal sign-off reports.
· Prepare and maintain end-user documentation covering system parametrization, reporting processes and practical user guidance for the new platform.
· Support the transition towards the new reporting environment, ensuring that Performance Steering requirements are adequately reflected in the target solution.
2. Business-as-Usual (BAU) Support
· Provide operational support to the Performance Steering team to ensure continuity of daily reporting and performance monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
· Support the team in maintaining existing reporting processes while the new systems are being implemented.
· Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing BAU processes in preparation for the post-implementation environment.
Requirements:
Professional Experience & Technical Skills
· Strong understanding of financial reporting, Performance Steering and financial performance metrics.
· Previous experience in Performance Steering, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling or a comparable Finance function.
· Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Finance testing methodologies or Business Analysis within a financial services environment.
· Previous involvement in a core system replacement, system migration or large-scale IT/Finance transformation project is highly desirable.
· Good understanding of financial data flows, reporting structures and data quality requirements.

· Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior management.

· Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet testing deadlines.
Education & Qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline.
· Relevant professional experience in Performance Steering, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling or Finance Reporting.
