Role Description
We’re hiring five Senior / Principal Kubernetes Experts to join a global engineering and technology leader, owning the platform end to end from bare metal to multi-cluster Kubernetes and edge devices.
This is a hands-on platform role. Everything runs through Git-managed configuration and GitOps workflows, so every change is consistent, traceable and reversible.
What You’ll Do
- Automate Linux installation and patching on bare metal using Ansible, Kickstart and Puppet
- Provision server hardware and BIOS settings, then deploy Kubernetes from Git-managed definitions
- Operate and scale multi-cluster Kubernetes fleets with GitOps-driven reconciliation
- Build CI pipelines and GitOps delivery with Argo CD, Docker and Helm
- Deploy Prometheus, Grafana, logging and version-controlled alerting
- Secure clusters with RBAC, Network Policies, PKI/TLS, enterprise SSO and secrets management
What We’re Looking For
- Senior or principal-level experience running Kubernetes on bare metal Linux in production
- Strong Linux automation skills with Ansible, Kickstart, Puppet or similar
- Hands-on GitOps expertise with Argo CD, Helm, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cert-manager, OIDC/SAML integration, and Vault or External Secrets Operator
- Edge or IoT device management experience (preferred)
- Strong communicator and collaborator, fluent in written and spoken English
