$50-60/hr

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for simultaneously directing the efforts of multiple cross-functional project teams to achieve clearly defined results within the triple constraints of time, budget, and specifications for medium and high-complexity projects. This position is responsible for an average of 3-6 projects with an average cost of $500K-$900K each as well as low-complexity programs.

Sr. Project Manager Responsibilities:

- Assembling the project team, developing the project work plan, and managing the expectations, deliverables, and results of all internal and external project resources for the roles and activities defined in the plan.

- Responsible for tracking project milestones and making necessary adjustments to the project plan or resources to maintain customer commitments.

- Communicating project status and risks to all project stakeholders and manages the change process for each assigned project.

- This individual must leverage collaboration, consensus building and indirect reporting relationships to influence Technology Leadership, Team members, and key customers to execute on a common vision and strategy.

- Responds to and/or handles escalations received from management or customers in a timely fashion, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated to the appropriate group

Sr. Project Manager Required Education, Experience and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in related field highly preferred

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

- A minimum of 5 years' experience managing multiple medium/high complexity projects in a Matrix resource environment, working with diverse project sponsors across multi-company and business units

- MUST have project management experience with Microsoft applications and infrastructure. Should have solid experience with large enterprise rollouts on items like the following

- Microsoft platforms (Exchange, Office 365, SharePoint, Skype, Yammer, etc) rollouts and upgrades

- End-user collaboration technologies (Skype - IM, Audio, Web, Video, Email, SharePoint, OneDrive)

- Must have experience with upgrades to systems peripheral to email: Proofpoint, RightFax as well as redundant technologies.

- Experience influencing and managing project teams without formal direct reporting relationships

- Experience managing SDLC projects using an iterative methodology preferred

- Comprehensive knowledge of PMI based project management competency areas and methodologies and experience applying these methods to manage successful projects

- Ability to be a champion for change and continuous improvement within technology and the business.

- Manage end-user relations to ensure end-user requirements are clearly understood and implemented in and implemented by identifying opportunities and leading initiatives that focus on improving internal processes and customer service performance

- Understand requirements on the vision and roadmap on Productivity technologies (Email, Instant messaging, Enterprise search, File Sharing, etc) space.

- Preferred to have experience with Confluence collaboration tools, and non Sharepoint Search Solutions

- Ability to identify and co-relate competencies Productivity technologies stack and architecture.

- High-level understanding of IT infrastructure and application architectures desired

- High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project

- High-level of proficiency using Microsoft SharePoint
