Description
On behalf of a research-driven pharmaceutical company in the Basel region, I am looking for an experienced QA specialist. You will own the quality assurance of manufacturing projects at external contract manufacturers (CMOs), for both development and commercial products.
Model
- Start: November 2026
- Duration: 12 months
- Workload: 100%
- Location: at least 3 days per week on site in the Basel region, the rest remote
- Rate: 65CHF/h
Responsibilities
- QA oversight of drug substance and drug product at CMOs across the full product life cycle
- Handling deviations, OOS results, complaints and investigations, including defining CAPAs
- Release of APIs, bulk and investigational medicinal products, including batch record review and change control assessment
- Drafting GMP/GDP agreements with CMOs and representing quality topics in the CMC team
- Writing and approving SOPs and reviewing CMO KPIs
Profile
- Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related science
- 3 to 6 years of experience in drug substance or drug product QA, ideally combined with operational experience in QC, analytics or production
- Experience managing external contract manufacturers and solid knowledge of cGMP/GDP
- Independent, assertive way of working and comfortable in a fast-moving project environment
- Fluent English; German or French is an advantage
