Day to Day:
- The analysis of raw materials, in process and finish products
- Reviewing analytical data, analytical reports and performing peer reviews
- Analytical method transfer and compendia verification
- Protocol generation - Instrument validation and method validation/development/verification/transfer
- Providing training for team members
- Logging and tracking of laboratory samples
- Undertaking non-routine/complex projects and responsibilities
- Instrumentation and analytical method troubleshooting
- Following all relevant Standard Operating procedures
- Supporting all Process and Equipment Validation projects where required
- Ensuring strict adherence to site policies/procedures, GMP and environmental, health and safety regulations
Here are the qualifications and skills/requirements for this position:
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a Laboratory Environment
- Experience Raw material and Release testing
- Experience in Method Validation/Transfer/Verification
- Experience of Dry Power Inhaler testing would be an advantage
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize
- Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative where required
- Strong knowledge in operation and qualification of lab equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Experience of front line regulatory interaction (e.g. IMB, FDA, MHRA)
