As Senior Release Engineer you will be expected to recommend and implement solutions for the company to improve on existing continuous integration and systems delivery systems.
Additionally, you will also be asked to assist with ongoing deployments to all environments using and improving any tools or scripts used by the release team.
Responsible and accountable:
*Primary technical resource for executing on the Release Delivery teams technology road map:
oParticipate in various projects to improve current CI/CD solutions used.
*Participate in selected IT projects day to day supporting QA, DEV and Operations teams on planned releases to all environments.
oWork within project framework in order to achieve goals.
oReport on activities to the Head of Release Delivery and Project Managers.
*Required Knowledge & Skills; (Minimum of 6 years' experience)
oExperience working with a variety of open source and commercial tools used as a part of CI/CD workflow. Artifactory, Jenkins experts.
oDemonstrated MS Build Scripting/Team Foundation Server and/or PowerShell Scripting experience. BASH or Ruby also ok.
oUnderstanding of .NET Assembilies, Web Services, Windows Services, WCF, IIS, C#, VM. NET, XML and .NET Platform.
oProven track record in delivering similar CI/CD projects for other clients.
