Senior Silverlight Developer - Foreign Exchange -Front Office (Foreign Exchange, FX, Electronic, Development, Developer, Technical, UI, GUI) - London

A leading Tier 1 Investment Bank is seeking a strong Senior Silverlight Developer to come on board in their highly renowned Electronic FX trading team. The project will be to build out and maintain a Front Office trading platform for their FX team. The ideal Candidate will have prior experience with leading a team of UI developers in a Front Office environment and feel comfortable customising and developing the requirements of the traders on a daily basis.

Responsibilities for - Senior Silverlight Developer - Foreign Exchange -Front Office

• Design, Develop, Customise and implement an FX trading platform
• Bug fix once support phase is under way.
• To be a reference used on all technical issues related to the platform once implementation has been complete.
• Identify and develop various needs of Traders once implementation is complete.

The Person - Senior Silverlight Developer - Foreign Exchange -Front Office

• Extensive and justifiable experience with Silverlight in a Front Office environment
• An eye for detail in designing and development phases
• Although Senior, still willing to be hands on with the implementation and development.

Primarily, and what is going to be most important to the client is that the Senior Silverlight Developer Will be responsible for a small group of developers with the drive and hunger to solve technical Issues, therefore communication skills are of upmost importance. There will be regular interaction with traders; therefore business knowledge is also essential.
