My client in Brussels is looking for a Storage System Engineer (SE) to act as a SME for complete Storage and Backup environments.
The role include a wide variety of activities, starting from initial setup and installation to level 4 support.
You will also act as a focal architect towards the customer.
I am looking for an expert in Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) - you must have vast experience in configuring and maintaining TSM Servers in an Enterprise environment.
I need advanced skills in IBM's Enterprise Storage Subsystems - you will need to have experience of setting up and configuring DS8000, DS6000, DS and SAN Volume Controller (SVC), good knowledge of LUN assignments, LUN mapping and masking.
You will need to be a SAN expert (Brocade 48000, DCX) - experience with multi site resilient SAN fabrics in an Enterprise Environment - coupled with good knowledge of SAN design principles
You must also have knowledge of working with AIX
I am looking for someone who is client oriented with excellent problem solving skills, ability to assess risks and criticality of issues to appropriately prioritize activities.
I am looking for someone who is flexible and who is willing to perform planned interventions outside official working hours.
