Project Description:
For our client in the energy industry, we are looking for a Senior Tester to support the Evolio platform (strategic portfolio and position management). Over the next three quarters, multiple Product Feature Requests (PFRs) will be delivered as part of the Evolio roadmap. The goal of this assignment is to ensure high and consistent quality through independent QA activities—safeguarding functional correctness, stability, and business-critical workflows before production release.

Responsibilities:
  1. Define and execute functional, integration, and regression test scenarios for selected PFRs.
  2. Prepare and maintain test cases based on agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
  3. Execute tests in dedicated test environments.
  4. Document test results, defects, and quality risks in a structured and traceable manner.
  5. Perform re-testing after defect fixes and contribute to release readiness assessments.
  6. Work within a clearly separated QA work package; coordination and clarifications are managed via an internal Single Point of Contact (SPOC).

Must-have Skills:
  1. Experience in Energy Trading.
  2. Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (test/defect tracking and reporting).
  3. Proven background in Software Quality Assurance for complex business applications.
  4. Strong skills in functional, integration, and regression testing.
  5. Experience testing end-to-end workflows across integrated systems.
  6. Ability to analyze requirements and independently derive structured test cases.
  7. Experience with defect documentation and quality reporting in regulated or business-critical environments.
  8. Professional communication skills and experience working within defined delivery and governance frameworks.
  9. English proficiency and EU residency.
Nice-to-have Skills:
  1. Experience with portfolio/position management platforms or similar energy/financial trading solutions.
  2. Familiarity with formal release readiness / go-live quality gates.
  3. Strong stakeholder-oriented quality risk reporting and recommendation skills.
  4. Experience working in governance-heavy setups with coordination via SPOC and strictly separated external work packages.
