Description

We are looking to hire an experienced web developer, specifically with Wordpress experience, to improve the realitysf.com website and UX to make resources available, to communicate more clearly, and to meet the needs of both newcomers and those currently in our church. We understand that our website is most often the first interaction someone has with our community and what Jesus is doing in San Francisco. Thus, we do not take lightly the importance of providing a hospitable and intuitive user experience within a digital space for anyone to access resources and information for their experience in San Francisco and a church community. This project is expected to last at least two months.

The Senior Web Developer will be responsible first and foremost for coding and wireframing new pages and modifying current pages on our main website, realitysf.com within the current look, feel, and design of the website. This person will work closely with the Director of Communication & Art to concept, design, and develop website improvements, with the main purpose of making information and resources more easily available. The Director of Communication & Art will provide all final approvals to each phase of the project before going live with any changes. This person should have experience in seeing such a project through in its entirety and should be well versed with Wordpress and the Advanced Custom Fields plugin. This person will take UX ideas and concepts from the ideation stage all the way through the launch, implementation, and modifi- cation stages. This person should have the network and ability to invite others into the project where additional hands are needed to ensure that the project is seen through to completion.

• Developer learns realitysf.com backend and wireframes

• Media team develops revised content and/or additional content needed

• Developer creates a page by page proposed design (or re-design) for feedback and approval
