Description
Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for Service Engineer. You will Increase products and processes robustness with a focus on specifying serviceability solutions towards Development & Engineering based on a strong cooperation with Customer Support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyse system serviceability issues (competences: diagnostics, recovery, (un)scheduled down)
- Create availability performance reports
- Specify serviceability requirements
- Define improvement proposals (including business cases & cross-sectors buy-in)
- Act as the serviceability program representative & communicate with relevant sectors
- Define & embed industrial engineering processes
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a multidisciplinary technical environment
- Broad system scope: software, mechanics, electronics, IT infrastructure, technical interfaces and dependencies
- Experience in reporting applications (in areas like availability & reliability)
- Capability to analyse field data (eg, 6-sigma training is an advantage)
- Experience with service & engineering activities is an advantage
- Familiar with product design processes
