Description

Service Support Analyst - Deskside Support

Remote initially.

Onsite in Rickmansworth once government guidelines allow. 12 month contract

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose & resolve errors in the RUK ISGO customers operational environment within agreed SLA timescales
  • Implement additional services into the RUK ISGO customers operational environment in liaison with the other ISGO teams, as appropriate
  • Provide support as required for wide range of technical and project implementations (some out-of-hours)
  • Adhere to all relevant ISGO processes and reporting

  • Windows 7 inc remote user access
  • MS Office & Outlook
  • TCP/IP Networks
  • TOIP
  • Data cable patching
  • IE browser
  • Network printing configuration
  • AS400 use
  • Terminal emulation

Experience

  • Experience in an ITIL compliant Service Support environment
  • Experience in a deskside technical support team supporting range of office and home based customers
  • Diagnosis and maintenance in a TCP/IP Networking environment
  • Experience in supporting TOIP users (including Customer Services type implementations)
  • Computer room cable management
