YOUR Skills:

  • Proven experience in writing technical documentation.
  • Proven experience in SharePoint administration within an enterprise context.
  • Demonstrated experience liaising with technical staff and management.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft SharePoint Server products and technologies.
  • Proven experience in web content management using SharePoint technologies.

YOUR Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and oversee the documentation of SharePoint policy, practices and procedures for user access, permission structures, releases, software upgrades, patches and the like.
  • Understand, and protect the integrity of, the SharePoint system architecture and design. Evaluate impact of ongoing changes to, and uses of, the SharePoint configuration, design, and general ICT environment.
  • Protect the integrity of the SharePoint environments from unmanaged change and incremental degradation. Conduct regular audits and report on SharePoint sites, accounts, and governance violations for clean-up and remedial action.
  • Maintain technical specifications, architecture, and design documentation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology for benefit of business and propose changes that would make the SharePoint environment a more effective solution.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, software solutions, better practice methodologies and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives (eg upgrading versions, third-party solutions, integration with additional enterprise systems).
  • Liaise and co-ordinate activities with other teams for provisioning and support for ICT communications, server infrastructure, storage, windows server OS, databases, application & SharePoint development, ICT projects.
