Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation based in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit an IT SharePoint Designer Administrator for initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£/day (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will be remote based for the foreseeable future.The Role:
The primary purpose of this SharePoint Designer/Administrator role is to help support the delivery of migration to SharePoint Online, working with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver a quality service and support model.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Digital Workplace project to support transition of fire shares to SharePoint Online and from Exchange 2016 on premises to Exchange Online.
Support the testing, development and integration of the Intranet under development by external partner onto the SharePoint Online tenancy
Transfer of data from existing file shares and on premise SharePoint 2013 installation into SharePoint Online.
Design and document a manageable support model for SharePoint Online, handing access requests, site templates and data/site removal.
Essential Skills:
Experience in administering and managing enterprise SharePoint Online installations
Experience of engaging authoritatively and effectively with IT colleagues and external suppliers to devise and plan the required solutions, tasks and activities.
Experience of Microsoft 365 migration and management
Desirable Skills:
Experience in administration of MS Azure services and solutions, preferably including hybrid solutions with on-premises elements
