The Job
Our client is in the process of streamlining the support team functionality and removing unnecessary access to Microsoft tools such as Active Directory and Exchange.
Core Deliverables: The outcome would be to have Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange basic tasks accessed through Web Parts - Example: New user creation, Password resets, Permission and Group Additions.
The developer would require the necessary skills to create web parts or similar and automate AD and exchange management. They should also have an understanding of Microsoft InfoPath, Active Directory and SharePoint (MOSS 2007) Integration.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
Relevant experience leading and managing a technical team providing detailed engineering support (level 3).
Infrastructure management and support experience of at least two years. Experience in security classified systems is preferred.
ITIL knowledge
Project management knowledge
Ability to perform these duties in a Microsoft Windows server and desktop environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-skilled team of uniformed Customs and Border Protection, civilian and contractor personnel.
Good written and verbal communications skills to support technical feedback and advice, management reporting and vendor communications.
Self motivated and self-disciplined.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with Solaris and Microsoft Windows operating systems and software.
Knowledge and understanding of security issues and processes around ICT systems in classified environments.
Knowledge of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
