This project has been commissioned in response to the clients Data Strategy and BI (Business Intelligence) Tools Strategy where it is stated that the client is looking to exploit the value from the amount of data it holds through utilisation of the full suite of Microsoft BI Tools.
These tools will assist the client in producing MI (management information) and BI for its operations and also for externally trusted partners such as providers, who will be able to access the information via secure access through an online web-enabled portal.
Deliverables:
- Design Interface Security model
- Advise on Authentication between systems
- Develop interface between two systems

The skills and attributes required to carry out the service are as follows:
Essential
- Very good knowledge IIS Web Server
- Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET Modules & ISAPI filters
- Very good knowledge of Webservices
- Very good knowledge of SAML 2.0 and other security APIs
- Excellent knowledge of ADFS, various authentication mechanisms like Claims Based etc.
Preferred
- Good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills and also a good team-working attitude;
- Self-starter, able to quickly learn the business logic and be ready to adapt to changes in this area
- Proactive approach taking the wider business impact into consideration when designing and developing
- Knowledge of Education datasets
