Description
Aim of the function:
Design, develop, test, document, implement, maintain and control/guard the applications. Advise and consult in- and external end users aimed at increase of IT efficiency and effectiveness.
Result Areas:
Management and maintenance:
Controls, guards, analyses and reports the performance of applications within' the indicators as agreed upon. All directed with the intension to improve the effectiveness of applications.
Analysis:
Analyses issues from multiple perspectives and disciplines. Investigates and describes multiple solution scenarios keeping costs, time, risks and revenues in mind. Based on this advises a solution direction which contributes to an efficient decision.
Design and development:
Translates requirements to a functional and technical design. Abide by the system architecture applicable and takes care for a design imperishably which suffices the system requirements.
Test and implementation:
Develops, documents test and implementation descriptions. Writes test scenarios and implementation scripts. Participates in implementation plans to maintain applications at a production environment in a responsible way.
Processes, procedures and guidelines:
Composes procedures and guidelines for in and/or external parties to create the most optimal business processes, if necessary. Maintains and watches over assertion of these.
Technical application maintenance:
Contributes taking care of the applications by subsistence, recovery, replacement and upgrades. Coordinates and implement recovery plans, emergency fixes, safety and back-ups to ensure a trouble-free use of the applications.
User support:
Takes care for second and third line support. Replies on questions from the business partners regarding the applications. Analyses and solves incidents in a way end users were able to use the applications in the most efficient way.
Technical skills:
- At least 5 Years design and development experience with Siebel 7.5 and/or 7.8 CRM within' the utilities sector or comparable.
- Experienced with change from Siebel CRM to SAP CRM based solution would be eligible;
- Experienced with development tools MS Visual SourceSafe 6.0 or higher, MS Visual Studio 6 Enterprise, SOAP UI3, Siebel Remote Client and Siebel Tools 7, Toad for Oracle 8 or higher.
- Knowledge and experience with Ultra Edit 11 and Informatica Powercenter 7.x or higher would be eligible.
Other skills:
- Fluent in written and spoken English (CEFR C2 level). Dutch would be eligible;
- Well known with ITIL v3 processes within an ICT environment.
