I am currently seeking a Simulation & Modelling/CAE Engineer to work with my client based in Belgium.
Some key information regarding the position is as follows:
Duration: 6 months rolling
Location: East Belgium
The Client
My client is a world recognised Defence Company specialising in the provision and in service support of weapon systems for light and medium weight military land vehicles.
Independently from all vehicle manufacturers, my client:
* designs and integrates gun turret systems for the entire 20 mm to 120 mm calibre range
* provides customised technical and training assistance as well as innovative solutions relating to its weapon systems to improve their use and operational efficiency:
* gun-launched anti-tank guided missiles (90 MP, 105 HP and 120)
* gunner y and tactical training simulation systems (both turret-Embedded and classroom)
* provision of related services to optimise the integrated logistics of armed forces: support (on location or from a distance), training, maintenance, upgrading, documentation, spare parts, tools, etc.
The role and Skills Required
* Whilst working the CAE - Simulation Engineer job, you will be responsible for working on the CFD and FEA simulation/modelling of mechanical components within variety of different products involved in the Defence industry.
* Previous experience from a Defence, Aerospace or Automotive background would be an advantage.
* Previous experience with LS-Dyna or Ansys is essential for the position
* Experience with linear static, modal or equivalent analysis of metallic and/or electro-mechanical structures.
