This is a 9 month Contract role for a SENIOR HR MANAGER with a leading BANK in the City paying £800/day.
As SENIOR HR MANAGER you will work with the Head of HR and Business area, contributing to the development of HR's agenda and strategy. The agenda will include: People capability build/Talent development; Organisation change and its impact on people; Reward and payround processes; Performance Development; Resourcing and Employee Relations.
To be considered you must be a SENIOR HR MANAGER with excellent communication & influencing skills, extensive stakeholder management experience, experience of coaching senior leaders and facilitating senior teams and expertise in driving organisational change and design. An effective and successful HR professional with extensive experience working within large, well regarded, highly international organisations which are multi-cultural and not overly-centralised is required. Financial Services (preferably BANKING) experience is preferred.
THE ROLE:
To deliver all recruitment activity needed to fulfil demand plans in the Bank's designated SBU. You will work seamlessly with the Head of HR and the generalist community to deliver Resourcing activity, planning and delivery. Includes key stakeholder management. You will create Resourcing plans to meet needs of demand plan and ensure sign-off from Head of HR. Ensure subsequent delivery of plan within agreed SLA. Full accountability for the delivery of the plan.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Significant Resourcing experience in a high paced, high delivery environment.
Strong assessment skills.
An effective and successful HR professional with extensive experience working within large, well regarded, highly international organisations which are multi-cultural and not overly-centralised.
Strong leadership and people -management skills (including performance development principles and ability to identify and challenge poor performance).
Client focused with strong relationship management and influencing skills and a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with the business.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, plan, coordinate and prioritise activities, self discipline and motivation.
Excellent understanding of employment law and legal right to work restrictions.
Previous experience of e-recruitment systems and online assessment/psychometric tools.
Ability to work with and manage external suppliers.
Experience/familiarity with high volume recruitment.
CIPD qualifications are desirable.
